How to active new CGDI  MB TOOL

How to use CGDI Prog MB Key Programmer
1. How to Activate CGDI MB Key Programmer?
1. Download Benz Monster software from official website: http://www.cgprogcar.com/
turn to the Download page you will find the download of Benz Monster. The user manual will attach in the catalogue of the software as well.

2. Install software on your laptop(It can work on Windows 7/8/10) and read out the serial number of your CGDI Prog Benz.

3. Send this serial number to our customer service to active your CGDI MB. After finishing activation, restart CGDI Benz and the Benz Monster software. It will be ready to operate.
2. How to Use CGDI MB Programmer Add Key for Benz
CGDI Prog MB is able to add Mercedes Benz car keys as well as program new keys when all keys are lost.
Step 1: Click on “Lock (EIS)
Step 2: Click on “Read EIS data”
Step 3: Click on “Computer Password”, then click on “Copy key with key”
Step 4: Click on “Other Keys” (One generation of key 705E6 key), then click on “OK”.
Step 5: Please insert the key into EIS and click OK.
Step 6: Please insert the key into the device and click on OK!
Step 7: Collecting the data, do not remove the key.
Step 8: Please insert the key into EIS and click OK.
Step 9: Please wait for 7 seconds.
Step 10: Please pull out the key from the EIS, and then click OK!
Step 11: Please insert the key into the EIS again and click OK!
Step 12: Unplug the key for 5 seconds, then insert the EIS, then click OK!
....
Step 34: Select chip type.
Step 35: Note: Smart key please choose 41 format, common key and BE key please choose 51 format!
Step 36: Select the location of writting key, then click on “Open”.
Step 37: CGDI MB Write key success!
Step 38: Password display area, write down the password manually.
BE key read password directly, no need to collect data!

3.CGDI Prog MB token policy:
Plan A: Two free tokens each day valid for 180 days. When license gets expired, please subscribe CGDI MB 180 Days Tokens Add Activate
After you pay for it, can calculate online two times free each day again. 

Plan B: One free token each day all the time. It won't get expired anymore. And if you want more tokens, one token will cost $5
Please pay for One Token for CGDI Prog MB. You can calcualte 4 times at most each day. Besides if you have CG100 PROG III Airbag Restore Devices and CGDI BMW, pls send us serial number
to bundle them together, one device serial number can have one more token free each day.

->  2007 w221 from Japan: Add key on bench
First try i use vvdi
But 2 time upload also failed cannot get pass
So i was change device Cgdi from vvdi
1 time upload successful
Good and very fast 10 min got pass

->  Just did some minutes ago ML350 W164 2006

Read EZS, add key, write BE key all done in 17mn.

Really fast and i’m happy with the first try on car.

Use late software 2.0.0.0

I just plug in the OBD, put key and turn ignition ON and read.

After this step, CGDI will ask only put in EZS and in CGDI. Just all

PSW query is more longer than 209, about 12mn to get PSW.

->   W221 2008 with key v57 from Japan:

Add key success after 30mn, get PSW in the 2è upload.

He said VVDI MB or Diagspeed need usual 1 or 2H for that.

-> test all key lost on w164, need gateway.

-> Tested w212 ALL KEY LOST !!! In car, done by OBD

-> CGDI Prog work good to do W207 W204 lost keys on bench, use with VVDI cable report by:
Alessandro silva w204 all key lost ok 100 percent.

W204 get data: About hour
PSW W204: 11 minute all key lost in bench with VVDI cable
had VVDI MB and CGDI, CGDI is faster and no problem to get Password:

 

Test with my W209 545 31 08 on bench as add key: 15mn all done
Trying all key lost, failed. But a friend do with W209 545 05 08 success PSW by IR without gateway

Related Question: I don’t understand when we have CGDI tool working all by OBD why lads want the tool to work on the bench???

Answer: For example if car is some further from workshop and you must spent time driving to the car or customer is just TOO far to drive, so then he can sent EIS or drive by himself bringing EIS it with him at workshop. It’s time saver and what if tool will not work via OBD? You will loose many time driving ex. 30 miles x2. If you have on bench, you can work at your place without risk of wasting time. Also calculating psw at the place of car might last 30 minutes, 1 hour in all keys lost? It’s much time to sit in the car + you have to take care of battery charger. If you have on bench, you can drink a coffee or a beer if you want and enjoy the waiting time
Still no tool which can do all merc by OBD anyway…

-> W203 with W209 EZS all key lost, done in the car about 70mn: Successful.

-> Calculation PSW always the first time, never fail.

CGDI MB tested failure:

CGDI work not on all by OBD
W906 Sprinter don’t work (CGDI Supports W906 only CAN BUS not K-line)
W230 SL55 AMG 2006 don’t work (CGD Supports W230 CAN BUS, you can send EIS and CGDI to factory to add K-line)

This device also work with tokens for password online calculation. what a nice is : free two tokens each day.

Users already confirm it is not VVDI clone, they open CGDI and say, PCB is complete other than from VVDI and MCU is other than from VVDI !!!
