1. Solution for R270 BDM Programmer erase M35080 issue

I have a R270 BDM programmer R270+, my problem is that it reads the 35080vp chip but it can not erase it, it gives me error.  I ask because all of bought read 35080 and cas but not erase 35080. How to solve the problem?

Solution 1)

I played a few hours with my R270 programmer, and I succeed to make it erase 35080V6/VP in a few minutes.
First I changed 7805 with L7805CV, before voltage was 4.94V, after that is 5.02V, but nothing happens, still can’t erase more than hour.
after that I start to play with 35080 PCB, and in the end started to erase 35080V6/VP after 74HC125 changed with 74HCT125M, erase 5-10min tryed on 3 chips, maybe if I change 74HC00 will be better, but I haven’t one for try.

1.Change the power supply to good quality: 12V 1.5A !
2:Change capacitor :

If you look at the user manual and you feel confused with the cable, here i will give you some explaination for the cable. Look at this photo, the little cable with yellow mark is cable 1, and the next one (green) is cable 2. There are 26 little cables for the whole cable. And the number is its order. Mark this cable from number 1 to number 26.

When you use this tool to change the mileage of your car, after you take apart the component you want to program from your car, you will see this main board:



How to use this cable? Look at this photo, you will see many places marked with number.

Put number 1 cable at the place marked number 1 , put number 7 cable at the place marked with number 7 .

Put the cable on the place with the same number. Then you will know how to use the cable. And you can continue to follow the manual to program the mileage.
