I have wanted higher grade launch scanners for a long time,I have another job come in that required the use of a J2534 pass-through device,this particular set comes with powerful smart box 3.0. Which also service as it’s wireless VCI communicator . Competitive price,I absolutely love it, As described it supports for both American and Europe most vehicles include BMV, Benz, Volvo, Ford, GM etc. surely will be better if can do online cording on more brands as advanced scanners like ultra anyway, it’s really an OE level diagnostic scanner and it dose everything I need it to do :)

Definitely more than a diy tool, this has good live data graphs and bi directional. The cost is there but you'll be using this tool often in the field if it's your first one.

This is actually a very good product. Well thought out. It not only works for cars but also for HD Heavy duty trucks. So all in one ! Just the buyer needs to buy the HD truck software subscription if they need to work on HD trucks also. The tablet with 4GB ram just zooms through fast without any hiccups and the 64 GB internal SSD hard drive like storage is plenty and fast to do any tasks. For those who think that a diagnostic tablet will cover every make and model and every function must wait a very long time. No such thing in the market by any of the makers Even with it's HD module ability it is priced much lower than the other brands and that itself it's functionality for cars and HD vehicles puts it on top. No need to buy two different Systems ! And 5 year warranty ! Excellent deal

This LAUNCH X431 PRO5 is easy to use, and comes in a nice organized case with all the adapters you need, I highly recommend it. I work at a automotive shop and it’s nice to have a scanner that works on all the vehicles I work on.

To update to a more powerful scanner for my repair shops, I bought this X431 proS, I'm blown away by its resets, calibrations, initializations.. and quick processing. With smartbox 3.0, the launch &431 pro 5 can download the OEM software from the maker's online server, and reprogram the replaced modules. Tried this launch scanner on Ford, Honda, Chevrolet, Audi, BMW & MB..So far, no problem with it.

This car scanner is awesome and it comes with a variety of adaptors for different makes and models. Not to mention the customer service is top notch as well. As a mechanic for more than 20 years, I always needed a professional scanner for the cars and trucks I work on. This Launch scanner works really well on Honda, Ford, Mercedes.. you name it.
