Procedure
Connect Autel IM508S to OBD, after scanning VIN, go to
Immo status scan >> Erase codes if having >> Add key(guided) >> Start
Note: This function will not erase existing keys. Press “Yes”.
Turn the ignition on.
System configuration in progress. Please wait for 7 minutes, then the vehicle horn can be heard…
Learned key: 2, press “OK”.
- Depress the brake for A/T vehicle and clutch for M/T vehicle.
- Put the smart key mark close to the START button.
Current number of keys: 3
Learning successful.
Press “No” to complete.
The engine can be started only when the following steps are taken:
- Turn the ignition off.
- Depress the brake pedal, put the head of one learned key close to the START button, start the engine for 3s and then turn the ignition off. Repeat this procedure for each learned key.
Test the new key, it does work perfectly.
Done.
