How to Read VW MED17.1.27 ECU with PCMTuner

Q: Is it possible to read the VW MED17.1.27 control unit ecu with pcmtuner? I made the connection but failed.

Here is the MED17.1.27 pinout to pcmtuner module 71

If failed to read ecu, disconnect EVERYTHING, Repin ECU slowly and carefully making sure all pins are contacting, make sure the breakout cable is pushed properly into the pcm tuner device, restart computer, then add 12v power – and try again BUT first ID, do try and read, if not ID then no point.
