How to solve PCMTuner Cannot Read EMS3155 Continental

Problem: I have an ems3155 continental unit and I can’t clear flash or eeprom with pcmtuner. Does anyone know why it doesn’t work? I tried protocol 22 and 59. it doesn’t work. thanks for any advice.

Solution:

In car…not on bench.
“temperature to high”you need to trick ecu coolant sensor unplug, of fit resistor.
Engine (ecu) coolant NOT gauge temp sensor, and you may need to use resistor in connector to make it show low reading.
