How to solve Xhorse XDKR00GL Key Reader “Timeout” Issue

Problem: My Xhorse Key Reader does not work properly. When I was connecting it to the Xhorse app and inserting a key for identification, it just failed and kept telling me the device was “Timeout, please restart device then retry”.

How to solve? Any ideas?

Solution

1. Restart the Xhorse Blade Skimmer and try another option;
2. Check to see if key blade is inserted vertically as prompted.
