Q:After connecting and running ISTA-D 4.39 software with vxdiag vcx se BMW scanner, it won’t communicate with vehicle. The software asks to update ICOM firmware. How to update?
Answer:
A:VXDIAG VCX SE firmware is not ready for ISTA 4.39.
New version ISTA requires new BMW driver support. ISTA 4.39 driver is not yet released.
Better use a compatible version, i.e ISTA 4.32.

Solved. Change the computer date to the day after the current date.
For example, the current computer date is Nov. 21st, 2022. Change the computer time to Nov. 22nd, 2022.
