What a great tool to ad to my collection. I was hesitant to buy at first due to the price, however I soon learned that this scanner is worth every dollar I paid for it. I have used it to reprogram keys, set vehicle parameters, and diagnose fault conditions. I do have to say there is a learning curve to all the cables, cable hookups, and learning to use the scanner. However with a little time, attention to detail, and playing around with the features of the scanner, you will learn how to use this amazing diagnostic and repair tool. This is taking Autel IM608 Pro Scanner to program a 2017 Honda Civic with 4 doors all keys lost as demonstration.

Connect IM608 Pro with OBD, tap

IMMO >> Accept >> Honda >> Automatic selection

Turn ignition on.

Press and hold Start button.

The ignition is switched on, please release the engine Start/Stop switch.

IMMO status scan >> Clear DTCs if having

If not DTCs, all key lost(guided) >> Start

Registration Condition

1. There’s no DTCs.
2. Here must be all keyless remotes which want to register. One keyless remote have to be in vehicle.

Please turn the ignition switch off.

(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine Start/Stop button.)

Please wait for the ECU to stabilise 7s elapsed…

Please take one original keyless access remote into the vehicle.

And remove all other keyless access remotes from the vehicle.

Is the ignition turned on by pressing Start button twice? No

Press and hold Start button.

The ignition is switched on, please release the engine Start/Stop switch.

Key programming succeeded.

Select “Yes” to learn next one, otherwise, select “No”.

Please turn the ignition switch off.

Please turn the ignition switch on.

(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine Start/Stop button twice.)

Are both the keyless access and immobilizer indicator lights turned off? Yes

Please turn the ignition switch off.

The registration is completed.

Please turn the ignition switch off.

Check all keyless access remotes to ensure each will start the engine.
