Very impress with this scanner, having used others such as Lunch and Genesis, this scanner is so much superior and fast! We used this scanner at my shop and we very satisfied the way it performed> I would highly recommend this Autel MaxiIM IM608 II for anyone, professional or home user.

The screen is a good size, easy to read and use. I know it's an investment for an individual, but I feel I've recovered the cost already.

I have a general auto repair and smog check test and repair station. This has worked out perfectly for me so far. I have had this scanner for a couple of weeks now and I gotta say it gets the work done. the only con is that the updates for the scanner is really pricy and you would have to do yearly or not depends if you wanna pay at the time. Updates for the scanner comes free for the first year so big issues for a while. I'll probably updates the scanner every other or as needed when I come across a newer vehicle. It does take a few moments (minutes)for the scanner to scan the data on the car. Also for being on a tablet now you would think the data would scan pretty fast. It's ok with me as long as it gets the job done right. There's other scanners from autel that can do more but I think this one just suits my shop needs. No need for the extra flashy scanner if your not going to use it to its potential.

This scanner works awesome! No problems at all with any vehicle make I worked on. I have been using it everyday since I received it. It has been doing everything I needed it for. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The touch screen, by the way, is highly responsive with minor screen latency. The technology is beautifully crafted and well-organized.

Was looking around for a scanner that would do what I need after hours of looking and comparing I found the Autel MaxiIM IM608 II , I’m very happy with it and it’s easy to use.

As a shop manager in charge of fleet maintenance for over twenty heavily used trucks, I can safely recommend this tool to anyone looking for a quality scanner at a great price.

I have had the im608 for a week now. Been very happy with it done many keys : benz, bmw, peygeot, audi, vw, citroen, ford, fiat, skoda, renault, nissan, honda, smart, opel, and what not. Been working pretty great. Many of them were all keys lost. Few problems encountered for example: - Citroën c4 problem with all keys lost pin (they fixed it though, update) - smart could not add key (0probably sam fault though). - mb vito 906, the ir simulator and read was pretty buggy. From what i understand the xp400pro doesnt have this issue - xp400 eeprom cable problem. Also fixed in pro i guess ( i have the non pro) Overall very reliable. Been worth my money. Also good 4 servic3 reset injector coding ect. Small stuff. The inspection camera is pretty good too. Oscilloscope not the best.

The im608 ii is a full fledge diagnostic scanner with coding and programming capabilities. It has become my daily driver. Another thing to consider is the tablet hardware. The 508 is painfully slow in my opinion, the screen seems cheaper aside from being smaller, and you have to be connected to the vehicle via an obd cable. I also use the wireless vci as a j2534 for GM SPS, Ford FJDS, Chrysler J2534, and Nissan Ners, for programming.
