ObdStar DC706 clone ECU ACDelco E84 Chevrolet Onix 2019.

Here I show the procedure of cloning E84 ECU with this OBDSTAR DC706 full.

We already connected ECU with DC706 follow the wiring diagram.

Let’s go into ECU flasher, select brand, ECM, DC706 give you 10 options. We select Chevrolet maker->Chevrolet ACDelco E84 (Bench)

Press Connect, and it gave us the information of the module.

Good information including km and everything else is fine.
Turn on the ignition on the dc706 adapter to connect.

Read Dflash and save

Read Pflash (MPC5676) and save

Read pflash takes longer

Then read E84 shadow flash and save

Then disconnect if read all files.

Now we connect a new module that needs to be cloned.

Select Write Dflash, OBDSTAR DC706 will ask it has risk and you are aware that. If you want to continue, press Yes.

Press Yes to confirm that you have the Hex editor option.

Load E84 Dflash data just read and write Dflash

Then Write Pflash, load E84 pflash and write into new ECU.

Write dflash and pflash separately until succeeded.

Install new ECU back to car and see if it is working.

Connect all together according to instructions.

Turn ignition on and switch to ON.

Start >> OK >> Connect

Now we can read & write eeprom, pflash, pincode as needed.

Turn P004 adapter switch to ON, DO NOT press ignition button.

Start >> Connect

This function is available by connecting the server, please ensure the internet connection is normal.

Switch ignition off.

Turn on the ignition.

Now we can check ECU info, read & write INT/EXT eeprom, read & write INT flash.
