I've found I'm very happy with it. It's a solid tool. Boots very quickly and works fairly well for that. Battery life is great, bluetooth range works across my garage if I need to babysit a car while working on something else. It has become my go-to for all bi-directional capabilities, service resets, battery relearns, electric parking brake, etc. IMO anyone driving a newer car should own bi-directional, that feature could alone save you hundreds, if not thousands in repairs.

There are lots of connectors and adapters in the sturdy carrving case.The tablet itself runs fast and smooth. Bluetooth is perfect.

I like the scanner it work’s really good. However, it’s limited to the length of the cable. I sent it back because I want a Bluetooth one.

This is a great little scanner for the price point. I have used it on a few vehicles now, and it has done everything I have needed. I bought a obd cord extension. I prefer the cord as I have another scanner with the dongle, and I always forget it. I will break this review into 2 sections, the good and the bad.
The Good:
1. Extensive coverage for most vehicles.
2. Frequent updates
3. Is FCA compatible
4. The key programing function is easy to use. Works well on supported vehicles. I needed to program keys for a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. Did 2 keys in less than 3 minutes.
5. Kickstand on the unit. I like to hang on steering wheels or set or on flat surfaces.

Summary:
The scanner functions I will give a 5. The software
is really basic, and needs the above issues taken care of. So I will give the software a 3, as it is usable, but not friendly. I am an advanced hobbyist for diagnostics. I have a full diag cart set up with scope, smoke machines etc. , so I own a couple other scanners. This is my go to scanner for bidirectional controls. WARNING ! This scanner two years ago would be high end. If you aren't sure what you are doing, read the service information from Mitchell, All Data etc before performing some of the functions.

if you’re looking for a bi-directional scanner, the CRP919E should definitely be in the running.
First one of the best things I like the best is the box that it comes in.
You can keep your cords and everything in the top part of the box.
In the bottom is this very dense form that houses a scanner.
