BMW X1 12/2019  BDC SWFL unlock success via OBD with VVDI2 and key programmed fast and easy.
VVDI tools using a lot and never was failed, at least damaged something!
In this type of job you need to be ready for some background solution if something going wrong, if you not ready need going away from this field!
VVDI tools very good tool for that money.

This is a VW Polo 2005, dashboard VDO 6Q0 920 803D. It is EDC15
I tried Xhorse VVDI2, the procedure is correct, but the key does not program.

It read the PIN. The VVDI2 procedure was successful but the immo light is still flashing. I used ID48-TP23 generated by VVDI2.
I tried disconnecting the battery and waiting 10 minutes with the ignition on.

Solution:

Keep in mind that vvdi2 with some older vw/ audi/ seat/ skoda cars doesn’t work good. Same as AVDI original.

In most cases vvdi2 program says all ok, but immo light stays on. It happen to me many times.
Best way is to use some other key programmer like sbb or vcds or vaq tacho key tool.

i find vag tacho about the most reliable tool on these 9N polo.

Read dash with fvdi
make transpondeur by dump with tango
and write the new file
dash will show error
just disconnect and reconnect dash plug.

Xhorse VVDI2 VW Tiguan 2016 NEC 24C64 All Keys Lost
Here is the tip to program VW Tiguan 2016 NEC 24C64 all smart keys lost by xhorse vvdi2 programmer.

Connect Vvdi 2 , use obd dump tool to light up the dash, back up abs code, leave the vvdi2 window open !
Take apart the cluster, read eeprom file with Vvdi prog, make service file with Vvdi 2, write service file back to the chip with Vvdi prog.

Connect to the car with vvdi2 and write back the original eeprom file via obd, read immo date, make a dealer key, reset cluster, add a key, restore abs coding, done .

2007 Audi A4 B7 RB8 crypto - mileage correction ok
Audi BCM2 add spare key by obd worked fine, and I did one on a 2013 A5 and it worked flawlessly.
A6/Q7 EZS Kessy: Added a dealer key (remote sourced from the dealer) without issues. Seemed to read everything properly but I had a working key to begin with.

Skoda Octavia 2006: got CS & PIN , programmed key fine, but not remote programming.
VW passat. B5: Pulled PIN, programmed key, corrected miles.
VW Passat B6 2009: Pulled PIN but couldn't get 6 bytes CS, needed comfort dump.
VW Transporter T5 2006 : Pulled PIN Programmed key, no remote programming.
Audi A4 2006 : mileage correction success .
Audi A6 2003: Mileage correction fail. car not start. remove battery terminal. car start.

New Toyota direct communication Special Function + special adapter ( OBD2 to Immobilizer plug ) introduced to tackle AKL on all Toyota Page0-8A 128 Bit better known as H Type Transponder found in bladed keys The newly introduced special function will read type H Immobilizer data via adapter without having to dismantle the Immobilizer unit.

I did successfully with vvdi2 one Polo MQB and 2 Golf VII MQB, immo and remote works fine. I used cheap china keys from aliexpress, non keyless, half smart. The key learning procedure is a bit specific: Choose right Immo type (automatically) Read EEprom - save Read Immo - save Make Dealer key (needs original key put in programmer to read sync data, then put in blank key) Then press ADD KEY button and choose the last point (requires loading immodata) Put in key numbers to learn (2 if you add one key) Proceed with giving ignition with both keys, after last ley is learned (you see status 2/2 in dash) press ok -- That's it, starting car and remote should work.

I did successfully made key on cas3++ version with vvdi2 today. I connected car with extra power 14v from another running car with cables, and carried flashing procedure which was required to unlock cas3++.After around 8 minutes module was ready to add key. added key everything works fine
