v1.5 elm327 can-bus VS  elm327 plastic  and elm327 bluetooth?
A:
they have same functions,the only different is the interface:the v1.5elm327 can-bus has both com and usb  interface,elm327 plastic  only  has usb interface, elm327 bluetooth  has no cable but it works by the bluetooth.

Q: I found an icon written on elm327 TEST, when I press this button, it says (This soft wear not installed on this version). I want to know is the TEST icon means that it will give me reports about the defects of the car or not. If it gives report I believe that this will be easily for ordinary person.
Please send to me a demo for the TEST soft wear to revise.
Also there is icon named Freeze frame, what does it mean?
A:yeah, elm327 “TEST” icon is car test function, but why it says “Display mode 5,6,&7 test results(not implemented in this version”, because you did not set elm 327 COM Port. Go to EXIT from elm327 test screen before change the COM Port number, then how to set the COM port, under the elm327 software, there is a file folder named “USB Driver”, open it you will find a PDF file named "ComPort.PDF”, it tells you how to Changing the COM Port Number, the following parts is a short instruction :

this is how I managed to get working k-line adapter for elm327 interface and Fiat ecuscan program without any switching. First i took OBD2 female to open cable (cost about 4$) and OBD2 male connector (cost about 2$) than I soldered 1-3-7-9-12 pins with 27ohm resistors i connect them all to K-line (blue wire),  I also soldered directly wires 2, 4-5, 6,14,15,16 just like in elm327 interface. I tested it on Stilo 2002, doblo 2005, bravo 1999 and punto 1999. All worked well except airbag (this is known issue) than I took KL interface and airbag also worked.

B:M8 you can solder that pins together without resitors. That multiplexor using resistors (27 OHm) you find it in a Opel Tech2 interface.For Fiat Ecuscan you can do that without that resistors, you can soldering without pin 3 ( Airbag).Well you can solder all that pins together but for your save I advise to you don't put it all together. ELM327 doesn’t support the K-line airbag protocol (KW71), so you'll not be able to do that with ELM tool just with KKL VAg com  interface. Better is to put a DIP swith there and everything will be saved and no connection between ECUs.it is very good. for now i did one just for ABS, Airbag, ECU/Automatic gearbox and EPS.Not more because the FES doesn’t support more ECUs on k-line.So look what I did with a mini DIP switch

A: Yes i saw your solutions earlier but i wanted something simple also i discussed that with my friend who made visa uniscan interface like that and he told  me that connecting all pins with resistors prevents communication between pins cause you get 54ohm between pins and 27 ohm from k line to each pin

B: If you say it work its ok.I will do it on my way. Completely separate.

A: Can you explain why is not recommended to connect all pins, i mean you can connect 1-7-9-12 except 3, is there some danger to activate airbag by that.

B: Yes that's right. Why do you want to risk? So the original multiplexor in Examiner can make a copleate separation between the controler. Well it is not a problem to connect all the controlers together but the Airbag it is not recomandated. Me I tested with all pins solderinged together but I did a multiplexer using a DIP switch.So I told you it isn't recomanded, not that it dosen't work.
