I originally bought a Foxwell NT624 and hated the limited function of it. For a little bit more money I found the MK808z. I can control the modules for a proper diagnosis. Build quality feels so much better. Runs pretty quick and has lots of car options, some that I didn't even know existed. Comes out of the box, once registered, with a 1 year update subscription. The only thing that could make this purchase any better would be a screen protector. The case is very sturdy and holds the tablet really well.

Hooked this unit up to my explorer and it automatically resets codes, but have not fully tested yet. So far so good 👍

This is hands down the best scanner, I have been wanting one for a long time and did my research for the best options and I’m so glad I chose Autel. It is easy to use, scans cars quickly and gives accurate good information. 10/10 would recommend!

So I had been doing some research to scan my Mercedes which I am currently having some issues with. I definitely found a few scanners here in OBD2eshop. I hate comparing brands, but I bought an “” first. It was able to pick up some codes, but not enough to determine the issues in my car. Then I gave this one a try. HUGE difference! I was able to determine my TCU was bad. Unlike the other scanner, this was able to scan 40+ monitors. One of the most useful things for me was the “Live View”. It simply helps SO MUCH when you are trying to test a part while the car is on. Although this tool is not 100 dollars, I feel like at the end of the day if you misdiagnosing your car without a scanner, you will spend more money on the wrong parts. When I got it, it had a few sort of bugs for one of my cars. But I did the software update (Free), and they went away! So make sure you update when you get it :)

So in conclusion, I would highly recommend to those who like to solve their issues as minor as they might be. This tool helps you point out fairly easy. Pays it self if you work in your own cars.

Had to get with the times when my old scanner wouldn’t communicate with a newer suburban. Does everything I need and has paid for itself by relearning the throttle position on 3 different gm trucks. Just wish it would remove a speed limiter! (I think the more expensive models will)

Cleared the maintenance reminder and the check engine light. You need to be close to your wireless network. Highly recommend

After updating the scan tool, I can't find anything that the scan tool won't do that my shop's $2500 scan tool can do. Well worth the price in my opinion

I bought this one for my dad and I really hope he loves it because he’s working on a lot of car and I know that it’ll be easier for him to figure it out the problem with the car.

It took a couple of hours nearly to update out of the box. Once it was all current, I plugged into my daughters Jeep and used the auto-vin function, which worked flawlessly. An auto scan told me what I needed to know, right down to which wheel speed sensor is bad, and a few other things I needed to know. If this allows you to fix a couple of things yourself without a shop diagnostic and repair bill, it will definitely pay for itself. I'd recommend this scanner to any mechanically inclined DIY for automotive troubleshooting and repair.

For one you get all the features of a snap on scanner for a fraction of the price. Have 3 bmws and works amazing on them

Was nervous to buy the machine but it is working out well. Does not work on old school buses. Don't leave it on over night. it kills the battery.

Ive used all of the name brand diagnostic computers in my 20 yrs of auto maintenance. This scanner by far is one of the most versatile scan tools ive ever used.

I bought the new MK808s. I had been looking around and was not sure what I needed. Originally I wanted a device to do a radio relearn. I called the local Chevrolet dealer and was quoted 90 bucks. I decided against that for less than 5 minutes on this scanner. I guess I'm too much of a frugal person. Anyway, I bought this and it wasn't free. I think it's a great value and I've used it several times. I've also called support a couple of times. I didn't know how to do something the first time and the second time it wouldn't work. Support had me try it on another vehicle and it worked. They told me to check a fuse for the obd port and it was blown. I replaced the fuse, the scanner worked. Now that's taking care of the customer! I didn't get charged for the call or support either! This does so much more than I knew it would or expected it to do. The only experience I had before this was a free application on a 5 dollar port scanner. So, I'm learning, but I'm no professional.By the way, it did the radio relearn in less than 2 minutes.

We bought the scanner two or three years ago and recently we had some problems which the guys have helped us at all times for many weeks they have been supporting us and solving each of the problems we had. We thank you very much. We are very happy with them and I recommend them to you.

Seems to be a nice little unit I like some of the features it has I'm pretty satisfied.
