Program Subaru Outback Legacy 2020 All Keys Lost ssuccess.

I programmed key for 2022 subaru outback PTS today with AKL. ESCL and Smart Key Module were replaced with virgin. Programmed with Autel IM608. Still car wont crank. Security light blinks 5 times and then stays illuminated with IGN in ON position. Autel indicated the ECU will permit the car to start. I am thinking these new cars may be a 2 keys system. I am ordering a second key now and will program and see if the security light goes out. This car was also water salvaged and most modules were damaged and replaced.

I was able to complete the job with autel. I had to learn the ECM even though it was never changed. Then the car started right up. Maybe it has to do with IMMO and ECU sync.
 

You can  Bypass Ford AKL Active Alarm with im508/im608 & G-Box2 just have to do the same kind of dance with battery cables and crap.

Autel doesn’t work with xhorse bypass cable. when using autel for Ford akl you need to use the gbox2.

Hook up the gbox2 in series with the obd2 cable and provide an external 12vc source to the gbox2 and proceed with disconnect battery as stated in all keys lost instructions.

Connect a 12v wire (12v power supply) to an extension cord from the inverter. Connected the gbox2 to the obd and the im508. Then just do step by step from what it says. And yes the alarm was active before you started.

Machine gives you instructions. If it’s with alarm active there is a process to wait for ten minutes and you will hear a beep after that you have 1 minute to program the key.

Autel im608 with G-Box can support 2023 Mercedes Benz Key Programming, it offers good coverage but it can be really, really finicky for password extraction I’ve found. No usage limits, however you’ll need to keep your update sub current for the online service required for generating keys and extracting passwords.

AVDI has excellent coverage, and doesn’t require you know the system quite as well as some of the others. But it’s expensive and the error handling if the internet drops during extraction is frankly terrible(it’ll sit there spinning it’s wheels forever if it drops at the wrong time). The manuals can be a bit useless though, especially for wiring diagrams.

Those are the solutions I’ve used many times, others like Poldiag, Diagspeed, Simon Touch etc I’ve only use a couple times and I’ll let someone else speak in respect to those solutions.

If the factory alarm of the vehicle is activated, you need to deactivate the factory alarm first before you can learn the keys.

In the armrest box;
In the cup holder;

So we’ve successfully added a key for 2016 Ford Mustang via OBD. I’ll recommend Autel IM608 Pro2 if you do a lot of locksmith and high security cars. It’s really a good tool.

Autel IM608 II is a pretty amazing tool that it does a lot of really cool things!

Today I’m gonna program this 2020 Chevrolet Traverse all keys lost with Autel MaxiIM IM608 Pro II by OBD. Actually the procedure maybe the same as 2020-2023 models. Without further ado, let’s get started.

After auto identifying VIN, go into

Hot function >> All smart keys lost(guided) >> Start

Do you want to start PIN reading? Yes

Notes:

It is recommended to use a USB cable to connect the VCI for this function process, otherwise the function may fail.
For some models, network connection is required for execution of this function. Ensure that the network connection is OK.
Press “OK”.


PIN code read successfully, please record current PIN code.

PIN code: 6145

Press “OK”. 

Do you want to start the DTC clearing process? Yes

Do you want to start the key learning process? Yes

Press the Start/Stop button once.
 

Place the Universal Smart Key to be learned into the key slot and take other keys out of the vehicle.

The key slot is usually:

In the armrest box.
Under the bottle rack.
Besides the ash tray.
In the glove box.
 

Input 4-digit Pin code: 6145

Make sure the valve that you input, press “OK”.

 

Switch the ignition off.

Configuring the system, please wait 12 minutes…

Press the Start/Stop button once.

The current key is complete the matching.

Do you want to match the next key? No

Switch the ignition off.

Press the Start/Stop button for 12s… release the Start/Stop button.

Lone press the START/STOP button to turn the ignition on until the instrument light  illuminates. (If the instrument light is not illuminating, please release the START/STOP button and repeat it.)

 

Switch the ignition off.

Depress and hold the brake pedal, press the Start/Stop button to start the engine and wait for 5s.

Switch the ignition off.

 

Notes:

Stop the engine.
Open and close the driver door.
Remove the smart key, press the Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time, and then release both.
Is there another key to be synchronized? No

Number of matched keys: 1

Successfully programmed.

* In case the immobilizer light is still on:

1. Disconnect the battery and wait 5 minutes to reconnect.
2. The car will be asking for the second key, put a new key into key slot until successfully adding.
3. Turn ignition off then on, the immobilizer light will be gone.

Autel IM608 II Adds 2017 Nissan Pathfinder Smart Key by OBD

Today I’m going to program an additional smart key for 2017 Nissan Pathfinder with Autel MaxiIM IM608 Pro II by OBD. With an original key at hand, let’s access the system for scanning at first.

Procedure

Connect Autel IM608 II to OBD and identify model firstly.

IMMO status scan >> Add key(guided) >> Start

Execution of this function will erase all learned keys of the vehicle. Prepare all keys of the vehicle. At most 4 keys can be learned. Press “Yes” to continue.

Turn off the ignition.
Turn on the hazard warning lamp.
Open and close the driver door once.

(For adding key, you’ll need all keys present to be programmed cause it will erase all and need to be programmed all keys again.)

Place the back of the Universal Smart Key against the ignition.

Operate according to the following procedure.

Press push-button ignition switch for 2 seconds or more and turn ignition switch to the ON position. 

Are the ignition and dashboard in normal condition after they are turned on? Yes.

Turn off the ignition and wait for 3s!

Press the push start button once, attach the smart key that needs to be programmed to the push start button.

Whether the instrument light lights up automatically? Yes

(Remember to take out the programmed key outside when programming.)
 
Program success. 

Press “Yes” to add next key, because I need to program the original key again.

Just repeat to do the same process as before.


Once programming finished, turn off the ignition and wait for 3s!

Press the start/stop button, and attach the first learned smart key on the start/stop button within 5s. And the instrument will automatically light up.

Turn off the ignition and wait for 3s!

 
Key programming succeeded, perform followings to check the keys:

Open and close the door once, click the unlock and lock key once, start the engine and wait for 5s.


Test the keys, both can work well.

Done.
